Very interesting. I have always wondered how someone who is in the presence of God, actually choose to leave. Thanks for your insights and I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Excellent article and so appropriate for our present geo political conditions. Satan's reasoning has not changed. His methods have not changed because his methods still work. Giving a reward to someone who is NOT worthy of it is the same violation of agency as withholding a reward is from someone who is deserving. The Savior's role in the Plan of Salvation stands in stark contrast to Lucifer's optional plan. The Savior was willing to do our Father's will and offer Himself as The Lamb Slain Before the Foundation of the World, one Sacrifice to redeem all willing and repentant souls with our agency intact. Lucifer required every soul to sacrifice their individual agency - no choice in mortality, good or bad - would have any consequence. In addition, requiring Heavenly Father to surrender His Glory to Lucifer without any mortal experience of trial or sacrifice.
