John Nicholson, Ph.D.December 10, 2018

I was born in Baghdad in 1936, and my mother, Sister and I escaped as refugee in 1947! I remember the journey vividly, and have written the escape at length in my family's history. To this, day as a result of the family's Christian heritage, I have no Birth Certificate: my sister does not either. For the longest time my family members have been 'personae non Grata! At 82 years of age I am, not likely to find out if I will be welcome - or not - if I try and return!! I have successfully hidden my identity behind st lest 30 nationalities. (Some people collect stamps, I collected nationalities!
