My husband and I backed this project during the first kickstarter campaign and now during the second. We are not rich, but we feel passionate about the Title of Liberty and what it means to Americans. The scriptures are very clear about the covenant on this land. Freedom is never guaranteed, but must be guarded. With religion being attacked on every side, and religious freedom in danger from governments all over the world, including here in America, there has never been a more relevant time for Captain Moroni's message. The short concept film they put out after only two days of filming is emotionally and spiritually powerful. Imagine what a few months of shooting could do! The Book of Mormon is for all the Jews and Gentiles and the children of Lehi. This film will have a full cast that is largely Native American, those children of Lehi. It will make an impact on so many families and so many individuals from all backgrounds. Go to the kickstarter page for Reign of Judges: Title of Liberty and buy a DVD/Bluray combo pack. You're guaranteed a powerful short film including behind the scenes footage of the miracles on set. And you could help to fund the greatest missionary tool aside from the Book of Mormon itself.

This should be one of the most eagerly awaited moments in Church history. A missionary possibility using technology and the most popular medium we have as human beings - - movies!! Why hasn't this happened over and over with Latter-day Saints at then helm? We are so blessed with wealth, but no one has had the strength spiritually and emotionally to use their money this way. There should be rich, wise men coming from every direction to make an epic movie about our greatest personal scripture. To show the Book of Mormon as a movie should be a priority all wealthy Saints consider. And most of us can give money, a little or a lot, to such an effort! It is a creative, religious, moral imperative!

Thanks, Jonathan, for bringing this information to a larger audience. I contributed what I could the first time...and will do so again. I want Darin and those he trusts to have creative control. This will be a wonderful way to flood the earth with the Book of Mormon. It will also remind us just how precious our liberty is. In this day and time---what could be more important?

Where do we go to see the short film?

I'm so torn by this. On the one hand, I would love to contribute to a project like this to put Book of Mormon stories on the screen. But the Heartland Theory people have now made the setting of the Book of Mormon a controversial issue. The science is so clear - the archeological and anthropological evidence is overwhelming in support of a meso-American setting for the Book of Mormon. But the Heartland theory people choose to ignore all of that and diss all of the scholars in favor of some particular interpretations of a few passages of scripture and sayings of the brethren, all the while ignoring scriptures and saying of the brethren that go against their theory. In time, their folly will be made manifest. Meanwhile, I cannot in good conscience donate to a project that tries to appease this vocal element in the Church and perpetuate their rejection of good science.
