What a beautiful tribute to mothers! She expresses so articulately what we all feel. Thank you for sharing!

The council of our prophets, and the promises of the Lord are marvelous to behold. We too struggled to hold a family home evening and often wondered why but knew that obedience was important. Not many instant gratification moments there but the feeling of having tried and the relief of surviving the effort was special. But the real reward, as you say, have been the bonds that we as a family enjoy today and the goodness of the character of our kids. Looking back over time is where the perspective comes for having been obedient if not very good at our attempts. We have been so blessed for just trying!
