Guest artists Adassa (the voice of Delores in Disney’s “Encanto”) and Alejandro “Alex” Melecio are performing in two summer concerts with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.
The events will be Friday and Saturday, July 14 and 15, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time in the Conference Center on Temple Square. The Saturday performance will be streamed on the Choir’s YouTube channel and BYUtv.
Adassa is a bilingual Afro-Latina voice actress and a Golden Globe, Oscar and Grammy winner. She is perhaps most well-known for singing in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” She is a wife and mother of seven and sang at RootsTech 2023.
