Editor’s note: This article will take less than one minute to read—but your reading this may make all the difference to us here at Meridian.
“If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” That is an age-old philosophical question. The same question can be asked of Meridian’s writers: If a writer has something to say and there is not a platform from which to say it, can something still be communicated? Can their voices still be heard?
This is the very reason we started Meridian Magazine 20 years ago: To give writers a platform—a BIG platform to be able to have powerful, loud, faithful voices; voices that carry over oceans and mountains to the four quarters of the earth in a matter of seconds.
We live in very complicated and conflicting times. But, these are our times and we at Meridian want to do everything in our power to keep publishing and getting great messages and teachings and news out to as many people as possible as quickly and effectively and powerfully as possible. We cannot do this without you.
We don’t want to feel embarrassed to ask you for a paid subscription, just like you’re not embarrassed or hesitant to read or share an article from Meridian.
We thank the hundreds who have already helped during this year’s campaign. Will you become a paid subscriber today? We would be most grateful.
