I love tight harmonies and BYU’s Noteworthy, comprised of nine powerhouse female vocalists, really nail those harmonies. Noteworthy is one of BYU’s top a cappella ensembles. We’ve seen them perform and we love them.

From their own description, “With a varied repertoire including pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop and spiritual genres, Noteworthy has something for everyone. In 2007, Noteworthy was crowned champion of the prestigious International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), becoming only the 2nd all-female ensemble to win the competition in its near 35-year history. Noteworthy has since appeared on NBC’s hit show The Sing-Off, released 7 albums, and become a YouTube sensation with over 70 million views and counting. Above all, Noteworthy strives to empower women & young people to discover their own unique identities & divine nature through the power of vocal music.”

I truly love music. We all know music sends healing to the soul. We all know music can change your mood for the better. We know that music can help us recall wonderful memories and elicit favorite moments. We all know from listening to the Eye of the Tiger from Rocky that we can be motivated by music. Right? I listen to music for some time period every day because it feeds my soul.

This piece below is powerful. Give yourself a three-and-a-half-minute break and let your soul be fed. This is BYU Noteworthy’s I Can Only Imagine and has garnered 4 million views. You can even play it again and sing along with them! Enjoy!
