I'm so appreciative of your kind comments, and the gift we share in knowing of the mercy and healing that comes from the Lord. Wherever I've gone to speak, sing, share - I 've felt among friends. Brother Glen - I miss those delightful Know Your Religion programs! And Sister Judy! I smile remembering the Dover, DE trip. I see the Boones from time to time, still! Thank you all for accepting the personal nature of this article. We are so blessed to have the gospel, aren't we?!

Vickey spoke at a Celebration of Sisterhood in Dover, DE many years ago. I still feel the power of her intensely personal story of healing, and always hear her rendition of Love One Another in my mind whenever it is sung in church. I too know the power of prayer and the miracles this sacred communication can bring to one's life. Thank you for sharing again Vickey.

Wonderful and personal. Thanks for revealing the intimate love our Father in Heaven has for us, and that He does love to communicate with us! You brought out a similar level of understanding that I learned from Pres. Marion G. Romney when he told the Brethren how much he loves to talk with them, but treasures even more his talks with Heavenly Father.

A wonderful essay. I too believe our petitions to heaven should be frequent. As the world gets darker, I think it is essential to maintain our light.

I just love Vickie Pahnke (now Taylor). I have seen her speak at a Know Your Religion series evening here in Southern California several years ago. Delightful speaker.
