I have been a MORMON for over 40 years, and I Am Voting For Trump. I understand the plan of salvation and am choosing accordingly. I had to make a decision in the premarital existence, I need to be consistent not to follow the plan that Lucifer was offering, because as of present it has not changed. Global Agenda is of Satan and all of the other candidates adhere to it. One stands out from the crowd, strongly and boldly.... for me, it is very plain, obvious, and easy to discern.

Bay Buchanan, Pat Buchanan's sister is LDS. I doubt that Pat dislikes LDS people.

Not true. We love Donald Trump. No lobeyst no paybacks no establishment. Trump loves America. He will make America Great Again. lds more than 50 years.

You bet I am voting for Donald Trump. I am tired of the establishment and party lines. Get rid of all the paybacks lobeyists and graft out there. We pay Taxes and the politicians raise their own salaryes. Trump owes no patybacks to anyone. He loves America and will make America Great Again. lds over 50 years

I don't understand "write in a candidate" or not voting", would one not automatically gave a half vote to the other side. If we are honest with our self, we as a people have not lived up the standards we would like to see in our president, but we still have a choice why end up cutting off our nose to spite our face. Do you want to allow the opposition still have control or work with what we have and be humble unto the Lord and pray for discernment and understanding in the times which we live.

I really don't see "why" Mormons dislike Trump in this article - it just gives polling statistics. The reasons why I don't like Trump are numerous, but I'm afraid to list them for fear that my article will be declined. Most of these reasons have been stated by Mitt Romney and in articles contained in the very conservative, National Review magazine. Please vote for Cruz who in my opinion will uphold the Constitution and in particular, if elected as president, will nominate the best law-abiding judges to protect our religious freedoms and hopefully overturn several bad decisions made by the Supreme Court.

Interesting he says, "Do I love the Mormons?" and "I Love the Mormons." Who speaks like that. It doesn't even sound sincere. "the?" If he loved "the Mormons", wouldn't he say, "Do I love Mormons?" or "Do I Love LDS people?" and then say, "I love Mormons", or "I Love all LDS people, you all are absolutely wonderful people."

For the first time I would have to write in a candidate. I couldn't bring myself to vote for Clinton or Sanders.

Hmm, this article is slightly slanted and in accurate to others of the faith. I have no idea if you will even publish my comment since it is from outside Utah. Many Trump supporters where I live are active LDS voters, we just live in another part of the country where he is much more popular than Utah. Yes, many of us are sane, reasonable educated people that see no perilous doom with voting Trump period. No one is choosing a pastor-in-chief, so what's the fuss about? Clearly he IS winning a large swath of support from Americans and to say Mormon voters don't like Trump is not true for most of us outside Utah.

Why do we want a traditional Republican nominee? Someone who owes the GOP on certain issues...
Tom JohnsonMarch 21, 2016
Keep this in mind: If Utah goes for Cruz and Trump eventually becomes the Republican nominee, Trump will not be a friend of Utah. The question is can Trump, who is a businessman and non-traditional candidate, defeat Hillary Clinton more easily than Cruz, who is a traditional politician.
LaLauna BandmannMarch 21, 2016
His previous comments concerning Mormons don't agree with this current stand. However, I consider Hillary and Bernie worse than Trump and I would vote for him before I would vote for the democrat candidates. They are even worse than Obama in my opinion.

Hate to burst your bubble, but there are MANY LDS people who like and will vote for Mr. Trump. Maybe you need to read "The Naked Communist" by Cleon Skousen to see how much we need someone outside of the "establishment" to help save our country and our constitution.
Chris KiteMarch 21, 2016
Trump would not be a traditional Republican nominee unless perhaps if you go back to President Buchanan who invaded Utah ... perhaps because he loved Mormons as much as Trump.
