I'm a kindergarten teacher and fortunately we have many kids who come from homes where they are being taught respect and right from wrong etc. Unfortunately, we have more and more kids coming to school who struggle because they have not been taught those things in their homes and they have no moral compass to guide them. These kids are in trouble all the time in school. Sometimes the parents are supportive, but they don't know what to do either. Other times the parents blame the teacher, saying the teacher doesn't understand their child, or isn't nice enough to their child. Thank you for writing this article! Amen and Amen!
