As a patriarch of the Church, I just wanted to thank you for an excellent and informative article. Too often when I have members coming for their blessing, and I have to spend a lot of time explaining the background to a patriarchal blessing. I am thinking I will send this article with the appointment letter, with your permission, so that the Patriarchal blessing when given, is then more meaningful at that time.
