I have always been so uncomfortable with those devices and services that take out objectionable material from movies. 1) You're supporting those who create such things; 2) You can still see their lips mouthing the words and the mind fills it in; 3) They take you to the bedroom, then cut away-where is your mind going? I say "leave it alone."

We teach our children a little here and there.
The world teaches our children everytime they go out into it.
A little here and a little there over time makes a big difference.

This is all well and good. However a piece that is missing is the relationship piece. Family are not “items”. When children make choices quite inconsistent with the Gospel, this would suggest we “move on” or past that since they don’t meet our standards. While I do not agree in the least with my children’s choices- no matter that we didn’t miss an fhe or church meeting or etc etc- this is their mortality. Their time to choose. They are not inanimate objects. Let us not forgot if we choose to only be around “perfect” acting people, we miss so many opportunities to be blessed and bless others who are not so “perfect” in their actions. The Savior strode among the sinners. As we are all sinners....
