In addition to the First Freedoms issues raised in this article, another issue is that such "non-discrimination" laws also violate the principles of a free market economy to some degree. In a true free market economy people choose what to buy and sell without force. Therefore, forcing someone to sell (or buy) against their will is a clear violation of free market economics.

While we are at it, let's stop discrimination in restaurants! Many of them have signs saying, "No shirt, no shoes, no service." Or words to that effect. Oh, and how about this one? "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." ANYONE! How discriminatory is that? You walk in nervously wondering if you will be seated or kicked out and never know the reason whichever way it goes. Yes! Write your legislators! Tell them to add restaurant anti-discrimination to the bill!
Just being facetious, of course.
It seems we've reached a point that in order to appear non-discriminatory we have to enact laws that discriminate in favor of whoever feels 'offended'.
