This was very encouraging. As a temple worker on pause, I have been spending many covid-restriction hours working on family history. We have some relatives with special concerns, so I will gladly welcome (and have prayed for) any help that the Lord might send from the other side.

The Second coming will surely come but only AFTER the confligrations previous. 2Nephi 25-29 and Daniel 7-12 plus much else must take place first.

I believe our church leaders are refraining from political issues because they do not want to give our enemies ANY reason to close down our temples or meeting places. We have no idea the thin line the church is walking in order to “fly under the radar.” God gave us all the information we need years ago when our President Benson warned us that the enemies of democracy were already infiltrating our government. He was scorned by many members of the church. Hang on tight - bumpy roads ahead! Don’t lose faith in our leaders.

As long as two good, active members of the Church can feel that they are inspired to vote for two different parties and political philosophies, where is the unity? We get little advise on the matter from our leaders, due in part to the tax setup that is designed to reduce religious leaders from speaking out on politics, not to mention that in a world-wide church advice that is good in one country may be illegal in another. Nontheless, I miss Pres. MacKay's, Smith's and Benson's outspoken clear speaking.

If you were the adversary, and you wanted to stop the rescue on earth and in heaven, what would you do? Isn't it interesting how the pandemic scare has led to Temple closures, masking, social distancing and fear? If there is any place on earth where faith and deliverance are manifest, it is in the Temples of God. Are we lacking in sufficient faith to defy the arm of flesh (the government) and flock to the Temples to engage in the work of salvation and deliverance for our ancestors? Are we lacking in sufficient faith to trust that God has the power to cleanse His House from any pathogen and make it a safe place for His children to come and participate in His work? Thanks for a very thought provoking article.
