What a blessing this family received. I gave birth twice to premature babies...once in 1962 and again in 1966. At a little over 2 pounds, neither survived more than a few hours. Thankfully, medical advances have come a long way since then. I'm so grateful many babies now survive what used to be impossible odds!

I love this story! God most definitely have a plan and it’s always his time, not ours! If you just be patient and wait he will always reveal things to you, but only in his timing! I’m so happy everything worked out and they both were truly blessed! God is the Aloha and the Omega! We must always remember that!

Oh Helmut! You poor dear! As every woman knows, IVF is in-vitro fertilization, an OBGYN is an obstetrician/gynecologist (they are always called an OB/GYN, by the way), and a NICU is the neo-natal intensive care nursery, where very frail babies are cared for until they are healthy enough to go home from the hospital. Methinks you haven't been around babies (or maybe females) for a very long time! Ha!

Have you ever heard of MTHFR? It’s a bleeding disorder that many women are not checked for but can affect getting pregnant or sustaining the pregnancy. It is something worth checking with every women with infertility or not. Because it can come with other problems.

Cute story, but written as if by a doctor: all these abbreviations are never explained. What's an IVF, OBGYN, NICU

I Gave birth to a 3 pound baby in 1977. She was born the end of August and came home for good just before Christmas. I know exactly what this mom went through. Brenda was very sickly for several years but has been healthy as a horse eve since! She just had her 42 birthday!
