I did not know a ranger candidate had to be airborne qualified to partake of ranger training. The 173 airborne brigade is remembered as being one of the elite , well decorated units in the combat of arms units in the army. As a former special forces Sargent, I welcome you my dear sister in the gospel ( I being a convert ) and member of a unique unit in the us army. I hope to meet you someday... all the way, Geronimo
