Yeah...no...this is an A movie. If your beef is "historical accuracy," then that is an individual problem. It was always touted as "inspired by the life of..." Not based on. Not a biopic. It is Newsies. Inspired by true events and using historical characters to tell the story.

I loved the movie. The style of acting and music conveyed the hype and pomp of what a circus is all about: spectacle and awe. The conflict was believable and there were good messages about fidelity, community and not letting success go to your head but staying grounded in what things are most important such as families and friendship. Jackman's performance was spectacular from the first opening moments. It was magical. The only thing I would have preferred was a little more modesty in the costuming.

I disagree strongly with this review. Reviewer is not seeing the whole picture. Passionate kissing between a married couple! Really???

I disagree with this review. I thought the movie was excellent with many great lessons for life. The music is incredible and I am continually listening to it. It's a great movie for the whole family!
