I feel completely blessed that my child who is a graduating high school senior this year. Has changed their mind about attending BYU and is now choosing a different school. Equity and social justice are part of liberation theology and Marxism. They have no place in the gospel of Jesus Christ nor in an education from a private church school paid for by our collective tithing. BYU has been were we wanted all of our children to attend. We wanted them to have the best education taught with the power and majesty of God’s holy gospel. Were they could see the importance of all things through the lense of the plan of salvation and where the Holy Ghost is sought after to be in each class so that truths of the lessons could be testified of. Sadly each day we are learning that this is no longer the type of education being obtained at BYU. We are a bi-racial family and find this study disheartening, disturbing and wrong. We are all children of God. None of us were able to choose our sex , nor our race. No one is better than anyone else or more deserving. We are all less than the dust of this earth. Yet Christ came to this earth and lived for us all and then suffered all things for all of us so that we could return to him and our Heavenly Father. What are we doing to each other. We are being created and morphed into each other’s enemies. For what ? For the color of our skin, for the places where we were born. We had no part of that and can own none of it. For the way we think. We have been taught this past year to look at others as viruses as someone with a diseased body whose very breath is wrong and that they may kill you if you get to close. We are being taught that if you are white you were born evil and racist and there is literally nothing you can do about it.We are being taught that to be a woman is meaningless because gender is meaningless. And if you want to be a woman all you need to do is believe that you are one.And the world is desperately trying to teach that if you are a person of color (whatever that means because we are all made up of multiple colors )That you are victim. My children are not victims. They were fearfully and wonderfully made by God Almighty. As were each of us. Let us stand for no more of this nonsense and return to God. Please this is all becoming almost to much to bear. And studies like this are doing more harm than good.

Have you even considered how the non-member white kids feel? What is being done to help them with belonging?
