SANDY, Utah–Hundreds of retailers, publishers, authors and artists will gather at one central location next week.
The annual LDS Booksellers Association convention and tradeshow will take place Aug. 2-5 at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy. The event will feature new products for the LDS market, provide classes for retailers, as well as host a ³product speed dating² event where authors/artists can talk about their products to retailers.
Kay Curtiss, vice president of the association, says that this year¹s convention will be a valuable time for LDS booksellers to learn, share and network with each other.
³The LDS Bookseller Convention allows us to get renewed, make new friends, reconnect with old ones, learn new skills and techniques to better help us serve our customers and be more successful in our business,² she says. ³People also discover a lot of new products to help enrich the lives and families that come to our stores.²
The tradeshow floor will open on Aug. 4-5 with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. the first day of the show, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. the second day.
