The story of the painting of “Joseph Smith’s Last Dream.” In the summer of 2007, while working for Paul Thomas Smith, a retired church history teacher and author, I came across a little-known account written by W. W. Phelps concerning a supposed “last dream” of the Prophet Joseph Smith.

Seth, that was very beautiful and inspiring. I randomly came across this and, to my surprise, was delighted when I realized that I knew you - your brothers were very close friends of mine during our elementary school years. Best wishes to you and your family!

Wow! Powerful. Thanks for sharing. It brought tears to my eyes. You must never presume to take what Heavenly Father has given you, for you have a great spirit, which is why Satan wishes to have you one way or the other -- to stop you. Don't let him win, despair is one of his greatest tools. I feel like I fight him on a daily basis, and it gets tiring, but I keep fighting. Eventually I'll win!
