Boston Area Artists Sought for Faith-Based Exhibition
BOSTON , Massachusetts – The Bunker Hill Community College in Boston has issued a call for slide submissions from artists to be considered for an interfaith and intercultural exhibit exploring faith-based and spiritual dimensions in art.
The exhibition will take place from September 14-October 20, 2006, at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery, 250 Rutherford Avenue in Boston.
The exhibition is open to all artists who are working in the metropolitan Boston region. Artwork must have been completed since January 2004 and not previously exhibited in more than one show.
Works should explore the artist’s expression of spirituality and faith in visual art. Art work in various media including printmaking, mixed media, photography, painting, drawing, digital media, and sculpture will be considered. Artists from various faith traditions, practices, or religions are encouraged to submit work.
