A brand new digital tool from the Church may have opened up even more opportunities to study the Savior’s mortal ministry through augmented reality. A three-dimensional, interactive map of the Holy Land allows for a truly unique Come, Follow Me experience where families can—almost literally—follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

The interactive map includes 22 pinned locations throughout the Holy Land and 91 events and teachings recorded in the four Gospels, like the baptism of Christ and the Sermon on the Mount. The map also includes scripture stories in locations that may be lesser known to members, like the cursing of the fig tree (event 65) or the healing of Peter’s mother-in-law (event 20). Each of the 91 events contains a related scripture, video, article, and/or image to help provide deeper insights into the event.
