In social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Monday, Aug. 1, President Russell M. Nelson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, shared an invitation to develop a testimony.
“I plead with you to take charge of your testimony of Jesus Christ. Work for it. Own it. Care for it. Nurture it so that it will grow. Then watch for miracles to happen in your life,” he shared.

A video clip from the Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults accompanied the posts on Facebook and Instagram. The devotional was broadcast worldwide from the Conference Center to young adults ages 18 to 30 on Sunday, May 15.
In the video, he continues with inviting to feed a testimony truth. “Don’t pollute it with the false philosophies of unbelieving men and women and then wonder why your testimony is waning.”
