This has been a fascinating series of articles. Thank you for sharing your experience and insights. I serve as a mission nurse in an area that vulnerable in many ways to both natural and man-made disasters. We are giving missionaries some simple and basic instruction in emergency preparedness, at the direction of the Area Presidency. There was much food for thought in what you shared.
