I wanted to clarify the details on the photo. This is actually a photo of the 553rd in Fort Sill, Oklahoma training for Korea. Many of the members of the 553rd deployed with the 213th as reinforcements in the spring of 1952. the photo is from the collection of PFC Donald J Gaudet who was with Charlie Battery of the 213th. I have more photos of the 213th in Korea from Dad's collection.

Thank you for this amazing story. I’m so grateful for their service and miracle. I’m from South Utah and want to learn more about this.

I loved watching this video, and felt the confirmation of the Holy Ghost that this story was indeed true, and that it was the work of Heavenly Father and faith of these men that made the impossible happen. It brought tears to my eyes! Indeed there were more soldiers that were with them than there were against them!

A big THANK YOU to all these brave men and the Faith they exhibited. I wish more of our young people were like that. We all need to pray for our government that they will learn RIGHT FROM WRONG and make proper decisions. Reform is needed in the schools so that people will learn to honor Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. May the Lord watch over this country and guide the people is my prayer.

Love this!

My father, Jay L Ramsay was part of this story. He didn’t talk much about his experience but he always recognized that there was some Devine intervention with everyone getting home.

My father, Martin B. Merrell was also in the 213th. He was shot in the shoulder and spent time in a Japanese hospital. He was a brother-in-law and good friend of Paul Grimshaw.

My father, Paul R. Grimshaw was part of the 213th Field Artillery unit and the story is dear to our family. I recently visited the monument in Cedar City to honor their courage and valiant spirit. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I cried, realizing that this was amazing for them, but also possible for all of us as life continues, spiraling into evil in these last days. Our faith in Christ is so powerful through his love for us.

What a great story of modern day miracles not at all unlike we read about in the scriptures. Not only can we read them in the Book of Mormon and the Stripling Warriors but also the Old Testament and Elisha the Prophet when he told his young servant what we need to always remember, "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them."
