Hard to identify with Elder C facing financial “ruin” and getting a “no” when asking Heavenly Father for help. We need specifics. How bad was it? Was he on Church welfare? Had he moved into his parent’s basement? Was he living on his food storage? Did he file bankruptcy? For some people a financial crisis is actually quite mild, but they think it’s really bad. Some of us know and have experienced what “back to the wall” really means. Add Stage 4 cancer for a spouse to the mix, lose your job and health insurance, and then let’s talk.
