Yes.! The right kind of marriage starts under Common Law and it NEVER gets a marriage license which is a violation of Church and State separation. Would you get a license to baptize your child? Would you get a license to give or receive a priesthood blessing? Marriage is a sacred religious ceremony. Why is it licensed by the State. Why did licensing marriage start mostly around 1940?
