The Savior was aware of discerning who and who not to trust when He gave instructions to his Apostles as they went preaching the gospel. He said: Matthew 10:16 16 ¶Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. It’s a balance we all need to learn.
