Empty ourselves of ourselves and let God flood in; I love this.

My husband and I both needed this, thank you so much.

Oh, how many of us needed this article! I think it is a universal struggle for so many of us to feel discouraged and like we will never be quite good enough. Often we mistake discouraging thoughts about ourselves as messages from the Holy Ghost to whip us into shape. Thank you for reminding us that Heavenly Father and our Savior send us invitations to come to them. They do not weigh us down with discouragement or hopelessness. The Holy Ghost will uplift us and encourage us to keep going--even if we feel like we are moving at a snail's pace. I loved President Nelson's counsel to remember the positive things we have done when we take the Sacrament--not just the things we need to repent of. This will help us have a truer vision of who we are and the goodness that is in each of us.

Thank you, Wally. We all need to put our efforts in proper perspective and feel Fathers abiding love and mercy!
