Thank you so much for this outstanding article. I am going to send it to my children and grandchildren. I have been accused of being the rose coloured glassed person and have learned to be more humble and compassionate through prayerfully seeking God’s guidance on who needs my help. You have strained my brain, but it is interesting to consider all the points you have made. How does an ignorant person recognize humility and compassion? It seems that you called out the areas which we as a society need to improve but give us only general advice on how to address it. Be humble and compassionate. If I am rooted in the things you have presented, I may have no clue as to what your are referring. I guess you know your audience, so some will understand, but I know for some of my friends that you just walked right over their heads.
