Joseph wrote this in 1832 when he was about 27 years old. He was obviously a very intelligent person and this shows in his flowery language, although his punctuation is lacking due to his small amount of formal education. It is a beautiful and inspiring account of a true prophet!

his spelling wasn't perfect but even back then some words were spelled differently than we spell them today. it seemed he was wordy for a young man like he was. I guess I expected short choppy sentences instead of run on sentences. He did speak his mind and did give account many times. I am grateful that he did take it serious and paid attention and did share it with us. without this we wouldn't have the restored priesthood and covenants. im also glad he continued even though there was much strife in his life.
