The Book of revelation is patterned on the Book of Enoch, it features geocentric astronomy and a trip from the earth, through the orbits of the seven visible planets, and on to the celestial city and the throne of God. The seven seals are seven periods of world history, but also the orbits of the planets. The "man with a bow" is the constellation Sagittarius, "the archer, and the "maan with a scale" is the constellation Libra, "the balance."
