Film composer Thomas C. Baggaley recently advanced to candidacy for a Ph.D. in music from UCLA, where he studied film scoring with highly regarded composer, Jerry Goldsmith. Recent film work includes writing the scores for Christian Vuissa’s award-winning film, Unfolding and John Lyde’s soon-to-be released direct-to-video production Mariah’s Prayer. He also worked as an orchestrator on The Book of Mormon Movie, Vol. 1: The Journey and his CD of inspirational music titled “Spirit of the Sabbath” is available at Deseret Book and LDSvideostore.com. Thomas is the co-webmaster of LDSfilm.com, a research web site about LDS films and filmmakers. He is currently working on his next CD release, “Healing Showers: Music for a Rainy Evening” which is scheduled to be released by Quest Haven Publishing soon. Thomas is a husband and father to three wonderful children and serves as the second counselor in the Sunday School Presidency and teacher improvement coordinator in his ward.
