A romantic comedy directed by John Lyde and written by Sally Meyer is set to hit DVD shelves September 7th.
The movie, You’re So Cupid, is a family-friendly romantic comedy about fraternal twins, Lily and Emma Valentine, who have played matchmakers since they were little girls in kindergarten. Trouble arises when their parents, Daniel and Audrey, decide to separate and divide their daughters “equally” causing their daughters to switch homes and rooms each month.
Now high school seniors, the girls have never fallen in love themselves, and prefer to spend their days making sure everyone in their school makes a love connection.
Life changes dramatically for Emma and Lily when Connor Miller moves from the east coast to attend their school. Emma and Lily fall madly in love, and unbeknownst to the other, they both invite him to the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance.
In an interesting twist, Connor falls in love with both girls, due in part to the fact their father, Daniel, is actually Cupid. Magic pixie dust somehow gets into both girls invitations, and the adventure quickly swings into high gear. An all-out love-war ensues, with sabotage, high jinks and mayhem, as each girl fights for Connor’s affection.
When Audrey decides to end the marriage completely, Emma and Lily must choose whether to continue their pursuit of Connor, or put their differences aside and bring their parents back together.
Will love and loyalty for family prevail, or will Lily and Emma continue their love and war battle for the man of their dreams?
Sprinkled with love, laughter and magic, You’re So Cupid is a fun, romantic comedy the whole family can enjoy together.
Starring Minor Details favorites Caitlin EJ Meyer as Lily and Danielle Chuchran as Emma, this film already has a fan base of ‘tweens eager to see what happens to their favorite young LDS actors. Jeremy Sumpter plays the hapless love struck Connor, and Hollywood regulars Brian Krause and Lauren Holly play parents Daniel and Audrey Valentine.
