The 2024 Utah Area YSA Conference is excited to announce not one, but two official attempts to break GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS titles.

The conference, which will take place August 2-4, is open to young single adults ages 18-35. It will feature inspirational speakers, service projects, local events, workshops on personal and spiritual growth, and plenty of social activities like dances, group events, and games. It will be a weekend full of learning, fun, and spiritual enrichment.

To ensure the integrity of these attempts, an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator will be overseeing the events. They will verify all details according to GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS guidelines.

The conference has received official permission to conduct these events and will work closely with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS to ensure that all measurements and criteria are met accurately.

**The Most Contributions to a Greetings Card**

The 2024 Utah Area YSA Conference attendees will attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for ‘The Most Contributions to a Greetings Card’ by signing the largest birthday card ever for President Russell M. Nelson’s 100th birthday. The goal is to gather the highest number of individual contributions, surpassing the current record of 20,482 contributions, which was achieved by Warner Bros World, Abu Dhabi on 14 January 2022 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The conference aims to collect over 100,000 messages, each including more than just a name. The birthday card will be available for contributions throughout the day, and all attendees are encouraged to participate.

Virtual submissions will also be accepted. The platform for submitting messages will be live on the 2024 Utah YSA Conference website from 8 AM on July 29th until 8 PM on Saturday, August 3rd.

**The Largest Speed Dating Event**

The 2024 Utah Area YSA Conference attendees will attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for ‘The Largest Speed Dating Event’. The current record stands at 964 participants, and was organized by Melvyn Greene and Mette Boyle Hansen at the CHQ Building in Dublin, Ireland, on 14 February 2019. The conference aims to surpass this number by bringing together hundreds of attendees for the Saturday morning speed dating session.

The session will consist of 20 3-minute rounds with 30 seconds to rotate between each round. The room will be split in half by age. One side will be 18-28 and the other side 25-35. Anyone between the ages of 25-28 can choose which side they would like to sit on. The women will sit facing one direction, with the men facing the other. Participants will rotate each round, and question prompts will be given to help guide discussion.

In accordance with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS requirements, there will be one witness for every 50 participants to ensure that all attendees are actively participating in the speed dating event. These witnesses will play a crucial role in validating the record attempt.

Participants can register for the conference on the 2024 Utah Area YSA Conference website: https://www.utahysaconference.org.
