The changes made are inspiring and empowering. I love our prophet and support him in all he does and says. What changes you ask? Well, go and see for yourself! It is wonderful

As always, the things that happen in the temple are too sacred to discuss in a public forum. If you want to know more about the changes being referred to, attend the temple.

The Statement is essentially telling us that the the Temple Ordinance in the past and future have changed and this is done by revelation. That they will continue to change. One person mentioned to me that in Joseph Smith's day, the endowment was 7 hours long.

Go to the temple and you will see the changes.
Charles DefranchiJanuary 4, 2019
I attended the Paris Temple last Saturday and no changes. But my Sister was there yesterday and did witness lots of changes. Just go and you'll find out the reason for this message.

I was confused at what the changes were until I realized that they are sacred ordinances not discussed outside the Temple so therefore they won’t be detailed in the article Go to the Temple and see. Also the process will continually change as we are ready to faithfully receive, and as revealed through the Prophet
CindyJanuary 4, 2019
So do we have to go to the temple to see the changes?
R. Lynn HigginsonJanuary 4, 2019
I'm amazed at the impatience of some of those who have posted comments. The announcement proscribes the discussion of these changes outside of the temple. Go and see for yourselves, and then zip your lip.
DqJanuary 4, 2019
Due to the sacred nature of the temple, no specifics are given in the announcement. The changes are apparent when attending a session.

We have recently been invited to make whatever sacrifices we can to spend more time in the temple. Only in the temple will we learn of the changes. The final paragraph of the statement is key: "A dedicated temple is the most holy of any place of worship on the earth. Its ordinances are sacred and are not discussed outside a holy temple." I am excited to attend the temple today and learn of these new changes.
LPJanuary 4, 2019
The last sentence reminds us that we do not discuss the temple ordinances outside of the temple. Why do people keep asking? Why not just go to the temple and find out?
RandyJanuary 3, 2019
Well, since it is temple work, you’ll have to go to the temple and see. Clearly the last line of the announcement says that work inside the temple is not discussed outside the temple.

I'm with most other commenters. What changes??? There is nothing in the statement to convince me there were any made. Do we have to make individual appointments with the Bishopric to find out? What about those who have to travel more than a few miles and then find out they needed to prepare for the "changes"?
AnnJanuary 3, 2019
I too, feel that my prayers have been heard and answered
LindaJanuary 3, 2019
Changes? What changes? I don't see any changes in this statement.
John kJanuary 3, 2019
Confused, what are the changes actually?
CarolineJanuary 3, 2019
I am sincerely am puzzled by what “changes” have required 40 years of prayers and wishing. I am in the temple many hours a week as an ordinance worker and patron, and the only changes I see are in people who are filled with the Spirit of the Lord and have have His images in their countenances.
HeidiJanuary 3, 2019
I am not sure what changes will occur. I read in the statement that revelation will continue on how these ordinances will commence and may change, but nothing concrete that they will change. Are others seeing something that I am not?
CBJanuary 3, 2019
I’m a bit perplexed by the comments. I’m an ordinance worker and can’t think of anything changes that would have merited 40 years of prayer for it to happen.
Jeff DrakeJanuary 3, 2019
I can’t wait to go back to the temple, so I can hear the counsel designed for us today. I’m kind of scared, since so much of the press surrounding the updates has been so negative, but I trust that the Lord has much in store for us. ❤️
TimJanuary 3, 2019
What changes? The statement issued by the First Presidency was extremely vague and included no announcements about upcoming changes.
BeverlyJanuary 3, 2019
Love these changes, especially the shorter session time. Now I can get to the next session without dashing and stressing out!
kenJanuary 3, 2019
Two people mention changes they've been waiting for for 40 years. The article I just read didn't mention any changes. Please enlighten me.
JoeyJanuary 2, 2019
I have waited over 40 years for these changes. Thanks to my Father in Heaven for hearing my prayers.
EllenJanuary 2, 2019
Go, go, go. The changes I have wished for over 40 years have finally been made.
