Paul K. Savage was born and raised in North Seattle (now Shoreline) Washington and served in the Switzerland Zürich Mission. He studied History at BYU in Provo, and Law at Columbia Law School in New York City, followed by a Fulbright Fellowship in Switzerland. He and his wife Heather are the parents of four now-adult children and live in Columbia, Missouri.
