Godfrey J. Ellis is a retired professor of counseling psychology and marriage and family therapy. He earned his BA in French from BYU, his MA in family relations from BYU, and his PhD in sociology and social psychology from WSU. He was born in England, raised in Vancouver, Canada, served a mission in France, and has taught in China. He has published in the Ensign magazine (now Liahona), BYU Studies, and Interpreter and serves as the associate editor of Interpreter.
