Daryl Gibson is a freelance writer and editor living in Cedar City, Utah. She earned a degree in communications from Brigham Young University and worked for 25 years as a newspaper reporter before moving into freelance work, specializing in history and biography. Her book credits include: “Peace, War and Politics” with Jack Anderson; “No More Strangers and Foreigners” with John Gonzalez; and “With Honor,” Success is Never Final” and “The Washington D.C. Temple: Divine By Design,” with Dale Van Atta. She is married to Paul H. Smith, and they have four children. Her current emphasis in research and writing is the challenge of parenting adult children.
