Carol holds a Ph.D. from the University of Utah and currently manages the Family History Department Hosting and Research Services team. She served on the U.S. Department of Education Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education and on a number of community boards. She won national awards for her newspaper consumer column and book and has written extensively for the Church.Carol served on the Relief Society General Board under three presidents. She was part of a team that won a Clio award for several Church-sponsored public service announcements with a focus on women’s service.She has authored or edited several books and articles for professional and Church publications.She has served as stake Young Women president, and a Primary, Relief Society and Gospel Doctrine teacher. She is currently a counselor in her ward Relief Society presidency.
