With 35 years of experience as a professional counselor, Mark D Clayton is a writer who brings clinical wisdom to gospel topics. His articles have been published in the Ensign, LDS Living, and Meridian magazines. He has addressed topics such as; individual worth, marital and family relations, the causes of infidelity, and how to minister effectively.
Mark was educated at the University of Utah (bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Social Work). He has had his own busy counseling practice for 30 years. Mark has served in church leadership most of his life including as a bishop and high councilor. He and his wife raised their 5 children in beautiful St. George Utah. He is especially proud to have won the affectionate attention of his 9 grandchildren.
