Jerrilyn Gillespie was born and raised in southern Alberta. She attended Brigham Young University where she received degrees in Education. Following a mission to Quebec, she spent many years teaching in a variety of settings from Public school teaching to teaching Music in the school system as well as her own private studio to teaching ESL in the school system, in the community, internationally and online. She is married and the mother of three children. She and her husband currently live in Victoria, B.C.
