Erin Shepard was born and raised in east-central Illinois and studied in Missouri to become an English and Spanish teacher. After serving and living in Spain for a year and a half, she returned to pursue a career helping other people, namely children and teens. After graduating with a Master’s in Social Work from BYU, Erin moved to Los Angeles to work with children and families within the school system. Having recently returned to Utah, Erin now enjoys working with teenage boys and girls at West Ridge Academy, directing the drug and alcohol program there. Beyond the therapy, Erin likes to be involved with her clients in artistic, athletic, and adventurous endeavors, including recently learning to snowboard with some of her teen clients.
