Debra Oaks Coe was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Philadelphia and Washington D.C. She met her husband while attending BYU, where she completed her degree in accounting. The couple traveled extensively during his 29 years of active service in the US Army. Debra is a devoted mother to five children and grandmother to nine grandchildren. She is deeply involved in suicide prevention including volunteering on the Faith Leader Workgroup of the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition. Her commitment to these efforts reflects her dedication to supporting and uplifting her community.
