Martín Vizcarra, president of Peru, presented a nationwide prayer broadcast on April 7, 2020. Religious leaders of The Interreligious Council of Peru: Religions for Peace joined together in the virtual prayer for the country’s health care workers, employees, law enforcement, volunteers and all others impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic that has been sweeping the world.
Elder Enrique Falabella, president of the South America Northwest Area of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also participated.
