Susan, thanks for making my day! My husband and I are serving a mission and have learned much from the wonderful people here in Albania. I thought we were called to benefit them - it is quite the other way around! Whatever we do, we seem to receive 10 fold back. Life is so much more than expectations - the greatest gifts come when we're out providing them to others.

Thank you so much for this article. I'm mom to a 28 year old with Autism. He has daily rages, which I try not to take personally. But I find myself in my sweats often, as I struggle with how difficult this life is right now. I needed your article. I just taught myself to knit and joined a knitting group which is doing a hat donation program for next winter. Even though I serve in my home, I've found joy in serving outside my home in a way that works for me, too! Thank you for reminding me that I'm more than my limitations!

Thanks Susan. I needed that, especially now that I am 76 years old. I find myself in those sweats (or something equally comfy) all too often, and heard a story from a friend just today of a sister who is not well, who is still serving others, and she is somewhat older than I! It puts me to shame. Tomorrow (it's bedtime now) I start following your and her examples and planning better -- thanks again! I will do it!
