Thanks for saying that you do not know certain things about faith. If we all knew there would no need for faith in the first place. Thank goodness we have prophets today that can give us courage to accept the things we do not know or understand.

I really liked this article. I feel the same way when it comes to many of the same items listed above. Thanks for verbalizing it so well and presenting a calm view point that is repectful of those of us that don't understand why others are not looking at all the things that work in the church.

If you live in the South, the last thing you should have to defend would be the church's stance on blacks prior to 1978...considering many in the South banned blacks from their congregations all together - not even considering the slavery or KKK issues. Pot & kettle.
