An interesting read, and well constructed. The author may want to amend the idea that Moses lived "four millennia" before Moroni's 1827 visit, however, since it is universally reckoned that Moses and the Exodus occurred during the Egyptian New Kingdom period, which began ca. 1550 BC (only three and a half millennia ago), and are more precisely placed in the 13th century BC (1300 to 1200 BC) during the reign of Rameses II, some 3,300 years ago. That said, though, the facts of Israelite history and Jewish practice in the piece are accurately stated, and the parallels creatively presented.

We have had some temples for over 100 years which do not have an angel Moroni statue.
