Thank you for your article. I too definitely feel that we are in the last days before the second coming of Christ. And part of the reason I believe that is because we read in Revelations that Satan is going to be tied up for 1000 years after that happens and he is out to get everything he can before that happens, thus all the evil, etc. that we see going on. And on the other hand I see some of the finest youth that I have ever seen to help counteract the evil. Interesting times for sure.

Thank you so much for insightful article! I really to read this today. When I talk about getting prepared for the Second Coming with my family and friends they think that I'm delusional. I know things will get worse before it will get better but I'm so excited about the future. I feel so blessed to be party of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. For being part of a living church with a living prophet who leads and guides us.

If you think about, Christ has already returned "like a thief in the night", as far as the world is concerned, starting with the first vision and His acceptance of the Kirtland temple. The prophets have told us that he would visit his people multiple times before revealing himself to the world.

I am so grateful to have joined the Church in my early 20's (1968) and have watched the "signs of the times" unfold. As I just finished Alma and Helaman recently, it becomes clearer each time I read the Book of Mormon that we are living in the times that Moroni said, "I have seen your day!" Your article was so refreshing. It was to the point. We can't sugarcoat what is ahead; yet you remind us of the glorious things that are yet to be. Thank you for your insightful writing, Jacob!

This article should be required reading for all Latter-day saints! It has always amazed me to see so many people fear the "Last Day(s)." Yes, those earthly souls who have evil in their hearts need to fear, for their nefarious deeds will be exposed, as we see already happening, and this will only increase as we get ever-nearer to the "Last Day(s)". But for the Saints--that is, all life, including humans--who have adopted the Gospel and follow its principles, *should* rejoice, for the time of suffering and pain is coming to an end!

Thank you for an excellent article! You have expressed my feelings exactly. As things have gotten worse and worse, my prayers have grown exponentially that the Savior will come. I yearn to live in a righteous society. I miss the temple deeply. We should prepare and then stand still and have faith in what we already know. I think it is natural to feel anxiety when there is so much chaos. But don’t forget that we still receive revelation from our prophets, seers and revelators for our benefit today. The gospel is going to remain on the earth. This story has a happy ending. I absolutely trust in the Lord.

Thank you! This is beautiful and timely! I too, look forward to Zion and Christ’s return. Learning more about priesthood power, and the fullness of priesthood power that will be available to ALL worthy Saints, and all that entails, helped dispel all my fears about the tribulations that will happen between now and then. My focus is on becoming a Zion person and inspiring others to become a Zion people! As we each, individually, foster and maintain an ongoing revelatory relationship with God, We will have nothing to fear, and everything to look forward to! And thank you for referencing the important work on racism, among other things. We are proactively involved in this important work. It is painful at times. But my message is always to look to Christ and his teachings, to listen and learn with empathy, and resolve to help ease the suffering, Instead of being so eager to change the subject and retreat to comfort. We have a lot of work to do in many areas. But in all things, Christ is the answer!!

Thank you for this, it really puts the future in perspective. I have enjoyed getting prepared for the "great and terrible" days ahead in hopes that it will help keep my fear in check and my faith can continue to flourish.

Thank you for the wonderful, uplifting and timely message. It’s reminder that one should focus on the good and not the evil going on right now is what I needed right now! I love taking the positive perspective because it is sooo true.

Thanks, Jacob, for the invitation and reminder on balancing my beliefs. And to stay positive, that the good triumphs over the hard things. Good points!

Your marxist friends will surely want to see change but surely not the way the second coming changes that will take place. Marxists don’t believe in God, they’re just another shade of communism. Most young people are indoctrinated by liberal schools. I hope you don’t equate these events as such.
