Thank you to those who support our youth. Tolerance or love does not condone behavior, it just might keep someone from self-harm though. I see our roll as adults one to show love, mercy and kindness. Leave judgement up to the Lord.

I sometimes wonder whether, out of a desire to show tolerance towards people whose moral choices are of a different nature, we do not risk conveying to our youth that breaking the Law of Chastity because of same-sex attraction is OK. Tolerance therefore needs to be counter-balanced with a strong statement about what homosexual behavior is all about: 1 Corinthians 6:9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,” Romans 1:27 “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” King James Version (KJV)
